Another snowy day. I have to start every work day with a cup of hot tea, although this winter I have mostly stuck to drinking only hot water, like all those old Hmong ladies. Yikes, I am getting old! I am quite proud of myself though. I used to be addicted to coffee, to the point where I would get migraines if I didn't get my daily dose of caffeine. I have since weaned myself off of the coffee, and life is a little sweeter without it!
This particular cup of decaffeinated tea (pictured above) is one of my favorites. I tend to prefer Chinese green teas, but for some reason I have come to love this tea, which is good because it is very cheap and can be found at any grocery store! The taste is quite bland, but the smell is quite heavenly. I'm pretty sure I just enjoy the smell. Haha. This is Celestial Seasoning's Honey Lemon Chamomile tea, which I like to lightly sweeten with a bit of honey.
I recommend pairing this tea with this lovely instrumental linked below. Balmorhea's "The Winter". Lovely combo. Cheers, and stay warm!
